Screenshot workflow: The first screenshot may need a small frame adjustment. Detected filled cells are highlighted on the image, so check the “filled cells detected” count before clicking Apply to board. If it looks wrong, move the Cell detection slider until filled and empty cells look right. Once you click Apply to board, the board updates and the frame is saved for next time. Screenshots are processed in your browser and are not stored.

What Is This Block Blast Solver?

Block Blast Solver helps you test moves before you place your pieces. Fill the board by hand or upload a screenshot, then compare two goals: get a higher estimated score or clear more lines to stay alive longer.

You may also see people call it a blockblast solver, block blast sol, or Block Blaster solver. The flow is the same: enter the current board, pick the pieces you have, and check the move options before playing them.

The tool is made for Block Blast-style boards: fixed pieces, an 8×8 board by default, no rotation, and row or column clears after each placement. It checks legal placements and shows the result step by step for Max Lines or Est. Max Score.

Screenshots can speed things up on both mobile and desktop. After you line up the detection frame once and click Apply to board, the same device can reuse that frame for similar screenshots later.

Use How to Use to learn the flow, check the FAQ for screenshot and privacy details, or jump to the strategy guide to understand why certain placements score better.

How Does the Block Blast Scoring System Work?

Each filled cell you place is worth 1 point. A full row or column clears right away and adds points for the removed cells. Clearing 2 or more lines at once usually gives a better turn, so the solver compares placements by estimated score and line clears.

Note: Block Blast does not officially publish its scoring formula. The system described above is based on community analysis and reverse-engineering; exact multiplier values may differ from what the game calculates internally.

Block Blast Strategy: Common Mistakes & Tips

Use the solver to learn better patterns, then apply them in-game.

✗

Common Mistakes

  • ✗Filling the center first — limits future piece placement options
  • ✗Placing pieces without planning all 3 together first
  • ✗Ignoring combo potential — single clears waste multiplier windows
  • ✗Leaving a 3×3 gap unprotected for large square blocks
✓

Tips

  • ✓Work from edges inward — keep the center open as long as possible
  • ✓Always plan all 3 pieces before placing the first one
  • ✓Time combos — clearing multiple lines at once multiplies your score
  • ✓Use the solver to practice optimal patterns without game pressure
